We are delighted to offer nine scholarships for Year 7 entry in September 2026. Scholarships will be awarded based on performance in an internal exam covering Numeracy, Literacy, and STEM, with the top three pupils receiving:
1st place: 40% fee remission
2nd place: 25% fee remission
3rd place: 10% fee remission
Each successful candidate will also receive a £100 uniform voucher to help them start their Kings Monkton journey in style.
Our scholarship exams will be held on Saturday the 8th November. We are happy to share further details and preparatory materials for the scholarship exam, and can arrange for assessments to take place either at Kings Monkton or at your school. Families interested in finding out more are also warmly invited to visit and experience our community first-hand.

Students are eligible to apply for a scholarship at the end
of each Key Stage. This means the year groups eligible to sit the exams are
Year 2, 6, 9 and 11. Scholarships are then awarded at the beginning of the next
academic year for the duration of that Key Stage.
The maximum scholarship that can be awarded is a 20%
reduction of fees.
