Extra Curricular Activities

To enhance our learning experience, we have a varied programme of extracurricular activities, which range from lunch time clubs to overseas trips and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. The programme for our term time clubs varies from term to term, and booking details can be found on My School Portal. Once your child has been booked into a club, it will then appear on their daily timetable on the My School Portal app which will help them keep a track of all of their activities during the week. The programme for our Autumn term activities is below.

Recent trips have seen Primary go on a PGL adventure to Tregoyd House in Brecon, a visit to St Fagans National Museum of History, and weekly ‘out and about’ sessions for our early years. This term our history and maths pupils will go to Bletchley Park, primary will go to the Plantasia tropical park, cricket fans will be going to a Glamorgan T20 match, and all our secondary pupils will enjoy a well-deserved end of year trip to Oakwood Theme Park. These trips help enhance our teaching and learning experience and bring subjects to life.

At KMS, we offer the Bronze Award in Year 10, the Silver Award in Year 11, and the Gold Award in Year 12. While participants have until age 25 to complete the programme, we encourage students to finish their sections while with us so we can sign them off.

Why Participate?
