All staff benefit from our 36-week academic year, whether enjoying an additional week off in October, Christmas or during the summer, or benefiting from being able to work from home during designated closure weeks. On a day-to-day basis, we have a Staff Wellbeing Group and on-site councillor to support and help staff when needed, free refreshments in the staff room, including fruit and cake Friday, free lunches for staff running clubs, and subsidised staff wellbeing trips.  

As an independent school, Kings Monkton School has its own salary scale which is reviewed with its staff every year. Salaries are competitive, experience or competency based, and incremental on satisfactory performance.
